What does Personal Training involve?
We’ll begin with a consultation, this is so I can gather all the information needed to provide you with a programme that’s best suited for you. This will allow us to set realistic goals and expectations while achieving the best result.
From there, you’ll receive a tailor-made programme and lifestyle & nutrition guidance to help you achieve those goals. We’ll have regular check-ins, helping you stay motivated and accountable.
Finally, you’ll receive access to my private Facebook group. This will give you access to videos, tips and guidance outside of your training programme.
What can I expect during a personal training session?
During your personal training sessions we'll discuss your goals, lifestyle, and training history. We'll then assess certain movement patterns to identify suitable exercises for you. You can expect a personalised programme to follow, learning safe exercise techniques and know how to progress with them.
Do you offer online training plans?
Yes! If 1-2-1 personal training sessions aren’t what you're looking for, but you would still like a personalised science-based programme I provide plans available online. These are perfect for those finding it hard to make time for the gym, but looking for a little more structure and accountability in their fitness journey.
Will I receive a meal plan?
In short, no. I’m not yet qualified to prescribe meal plans. However, we will look into your current nutritional habits, where I can then set you goals and provide guidance. Where I can educate, motivate and guide you every step of the way.
My goal is to effectively teach you how to build a healthy relationship with food, without crash dieting! Learning to love and nourish your body guilt-free.
Can I exercise with an injury or health condition?
Yes, if you have been cleared by your practitioner/GP. Exercise is important for overall health, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Is personal training right for someone who's never trained before?
Yes, Personal Training is designed to help everyone at every level. This is the safest way to get started with exercise as you’ll be taught how to execute movements safely. You will always be supported and encouraged but never pushed beyond your current capabilities.
How do I deal with a busy schedule and lack of time to train?
There are strategies you can put into place when you’re dealing with a busy schedule. I can teach you ways to keep your activity levels high and help you to be flexible with your exercise routine. We can adapt and optimise training sessions so you get the most out of each one.
